Life’s Healing Choices
All of us have been hurt by other people, we’ve hurt ourselves, and we’ve hurt others. And as a result, every single one of us ends up with some sort of hurt, hang-up, or habit. The question we all face is, “Where do we go from here?”
In this series we’re going to see that God offers freedom from our hurts, hang-ups, and habits. But, it’s a process that typically requires our making healing choices. On September 12 we’re going to begin a journey that will focus on the Beatitudes as a foundation as we are challenged to make eight healing choices that can transform your life and set you free!

Summer Sermon Series
Old Testament Challenge!
As you know, history tends to repeat itself. And so, it’s wise people who choose to learn from the successes and struggles of others. In this summer series at Corinth we will be looking back at the journey of God’s people in the Old Testament, beginning with Joshua, and learning from their pitfalls and victories. We will learn the life lessons that will transform our own lives. The summer series will conclude as we look at what is called “the Wisdom books” of Proverbs, Psalms, and Song of Songs to see how we can live more effectively and joyfully in the world today.
Each person who accepts The Challenge will be given a booklet with Bible readings, discussion questions based on the week’s sermon theme, as well as suggested applications. You won’t want to miss this challenge! Plan to be with us as often as possible throughout the summer.

Faithful - Women's Conference
| This year's Faithful - Women's Conference goal is to equip women in faith and to fill you with knowledge, resources, and experiences to allow you to grow in your spiritual journey. The conference will be held on Sat. Oct. 2, 2010 and will consist of multiple seminars which may include; Bible 101, marriage, finances, coupons, spiritual fitness, gardening, decorating and makeup tips. The cost will be $15/person. Consistory Meeting
| If you are interested in making a profession of your faith in Jesus Christ, or are interested in joining Corinth Church by a reaffirmation of faith or by transfer from another church, please contact the church office (877-4652) or signup at church to attend the next Elder's meeting. All who wish to join Corinth should take our Discovering Church Membership class before meeting with the Elders. Our Next Elder's Meeting: Monday, Sept. 13, 2010. Those making Professions or Reaffirmations of Faith, Transfers or Baptisms, should plan to arrive at 7:00 pm. |
Preparing for Marriage Class
| Join us as we discuss keys to a successful marriage on Sat., Sept. 18, 2010 from 9:00 - 1:00pm (lunch provided). This class is helpful for all who are engaged or considering marriage. Step into Membership Classes
This class will be for adults. Classes will be held in room 106 on Sat., Sept. 11, 2010. Class time begins at 9am - 1pm (lunch provided). We will explain some of the core beliefs and values of our church, as well as our purpose (why we exist as a church). This class is required for all who wish to join Corinth Church. Restorative Healing Prayer Ministry
| We would be honored to join with you in prayer as our God refreshes your soul, mind and body. We meet on the 4th Monday of every month at 7:00pm (Other arrangements are availlable) in the Library. Our focus of assistance include the areas of: Loss of passion for spiritual things, Problems with bitterness, Depression, Physical illness, Loss of a job or financial difficulties, Unresolved grief, Separation or divorce issues and many more areas.
